In 2015, Movies in the Parks continues to provide quality presentation and excellent value creating outdoor movie screenings for recreation departments, businesses, chambers of commerce, DARE, MADD, and Municipal Alliance groups. If you want a night of family oriented entertainment, an outdoor movie makes a wonderful event...and with Movies in the Parks, its as easy as picking a date, location and movie title. We do the rest!
|

Two hours before showtime, we set up our large inflatable screen, sound and projection systems. Music plays while the audience assembles and waits, with relaxed anticipation, for showtime to start at civil twilight. Movies in the Parks can create an outdoor cinema virtually anywhere...we even bring our own electricity! |
2015 NEWS & MOVIES
Movies in the Parks enters the 2015 outdoor movie season with the flexibility of three complete systems and crews. That makes scheduling your event easier than ever before.
Virtually every movie is available for public exhibition once it completes its initial theatrical run (some exceptions apply). While family-oriented contemporary titles are the most popular, many sponsors decide to show classics like Breakfast at Tiffanys, Casa Blanca, or Endless Summer. Public exhibition license fees paid to distributors can be included in our fee.
Some suggested titles for 2011: Beverley Hills Chihuahua, Bolt, Cats and Dogs, Chronicles of Narnia, Despicable Me, Furry Vengeance, Get Low, Ice Age Dinosaurs, Iron Man, Macgruber, Madagascar 2, Mamarduke, Megamind, Morning Glory, Night at the Museum, Old Dogs, Open Season 2, Our Family Wedding, Ramona & Beezus, Scooby Doo, Shrek Forever After, Tangled, The Karate Kid, The Princess and the Frog, Toy Story 3, Yogi Bear. Many classics and older titles are easy to obtain... call to inquire.

Moviegoers usually settle in for the show on their own blankets and lawn chairs. Some sponsors provide concessions or suggest audience "BYO". Sponsors may elect to supplement the featured movie presentation with personal greetings, classic cartoons, underwriter advertising or community awareness presentations. Lip-sync contests and karaoke are popular additions, too. |
EDUCATIONAL SHORTS FOR ANTI-DRUG, TOBACCO & ALCOHOL PROGRAMS
DARE, MADD and Municipal Alliance groups represent a fast-growing category of event sponsors. An outdoor movie provides a unique forum for community building and outreach to entire familes. Advocacy groups know that captive audiences seeing educational content on the big screen exhibit superior message retention. We have a large library of educational materials available at no additional cost. |
